1 on 1 Knockout Competition for all weapon classes, in rounds & Grand
Finals
Will
be decided on the best of 3 bouts to 4 points each
Opponents
will warm-up, familiarise themselves with their weapons and the conditions.
They will then be asked if they are ready…
Then they will be commanded to fight!
| Immediately
a point is scored opponents will be asked to “break”
- Points scored as follows: |
| Head
or Torso |
3
points |
| Arms |
2 points |
| Legs |
1 point |
| Simultaneous
Hits to any location will not count– this is to discourage
unskilled use of the point system to gain advantage. |
This
means that at least 2 “well executed” blows have to be landed
per bout and that consequently, winning will be more
about skill- at- arms rather than through a lucky
strike. (Breaking between scored points was found to be the only
safe and fair method of judging a points based competition)
